This weekend is when I give my affair with Tea, some depth. I am going to venture outside of my comfort zone and move into a new Tea dimension - I am going to move aside from the warm, comfort & familiarity of ‘Milk, No Sugar’ Tea and have a more fruity week. I live in an area that has a large Turkish Community which means I should be able to get hold of some amazing, infused Tea… surely? I’m a massive fan of utilising local amenities and buying locally so I think this is also going to be a great chance for me to get in touch with some local people – who knows where this Blog could go.
I’m still trying to decide whether to gather my house mates in on my journey, it seems they love Tea, cake and all things sweet also. We’re a pretty together group of people when at home and enjoy sharing our culinary skills, so I am pretty confident that they’ll be open to a bit of Fruitiness being brought into their lives.
So, Either way, this weekends going to be great.then I guess I’ll do some thinking about the kinds of flavours to try… or maybe I should take advice of someone who probably (will do) knows better than me & just head down to the amazing shop that I have locally and see what they think.
P.S Have a look at chatsworthroade5.co.uk/market if you enjoy a vintage bargain… maybe a Tea Set?

When in Egypt I tried hibiscus tea and it was lush! Although a little apprehensive of accepting this unfamiliar tea from an even more unfamiliar shopkeeper, I was pleasantly surprised and sipped away eagerly whenever it was offered for the rest of the week. I’ve not stumbled across it again yet though? If you find some send it my way
